Club

Club is a weapon used in battle and to strike an opponent. A speaker armed his people “with swords, and with cimeters, and with clubs, and with slings” before going forth against the Lamanites to battle (Mosiah 9:16).

After men could not hit Ammon with stones, they “came forth with clubs to slay him” (Alma 17:36). Ammon caused those who attacked him to flee “by the strength of his arm” (Alma 17:37).

Prisoners of war broke out in great numbers and fought “with stones, and with clubs, or whatsoever thing they could get into their hands” (Alma 57:14).
