Shores

Shores are borders by the sea. A group said, “we did pitch our tents by the seashore,” and called the place Bountiful “because of its much fruit” (1 Nephi 17:6).

Lamanites lived “in the borders by the seashore,” and many Lamanites were “on the east by the seashore” after the Nephites drove them there (Alma 22:27-29). A company “did land upon the shore of the promised land” and bowed after setting their feet “upon the shores of the promised land” (Ether 6:12).
