Sheum

Sheum is a seed crop that Zeniff’s people planted after they began to till the ground. They planted “seeds of corn, and of wheat, and of barley, and with neas, and with sheum” in the land (Mosiah 9:9).

Zeniff’s people also planted “seeds of all manner of fruits,” and they began to multiply and prosper in the land (Mosiah 9:9).
