Nephi’s temple is a temple that Nephi built after the manner of the temple of Solomon. Nephi said, “I, Nephi, did build a temple” (2 Nephi 5:16).
Nephi said it could not be built like Solomon’s temple because precious things “were not to be found upon the land.” He said, “the workmanship thereof was exceedingly fine” (2 Nephi 5:16).
